The purpose of the SA Committee is to assist in enhancing our Coastal Oaks HOA neighborhood relationships and the community’s quality of life. This SAC Charter governs the operations of the Committee established by the Board.
The SAC is expected to gain an understanding of the Association’s Declaration and Design Guidelines of Covenants, Rules and Regulations, and Design Guidelines approved by the Board, in addition to the conceptual mission statement presumed by the Florida Statutes that govern community associations.

CANCELED Fall Fest + Food Drive: Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 2-5 PM.
Saturday is our annual Fall Festival and we’re hoping you can make it! As of now, we only have 5 or 6 signups for items to bring. Of course we would love to see more, however it really can’t happen without you all to be the success it’s been in the past few years! The Social Committee has decided to post a poll to see who is planning to come. If we don’t have enough neighbors, we will most likely cancel and hope for a better turnout next year! Like last year - we are doing a sign up sheet! You may not be able to edit from your phone unless you have the Google Docs app - but feel free to put in the comments your signup and we can add for you!

Adopt a Family
We thought about the community adopting a family or two for the holiday season - we would research or poll the community to ask where to find the families - we know there are several organizations that do this. This would be based off community feedback. Would be optional, not mandatory for everyone
Luminaria
This was such a success last year! We would like to bring it back again pending the city of Atlantic Beach does it again. We will just need to wait on the announcement.
Thought of maybe turning this into a bigger event - last year there was a movie being played in a driveway and another house had a hot chocolate bar, others were passing out candy. Maybe having a house decor contest.
Christmas Decor
We will be decorating the front entry way again for Christmas. We have some decorations from last year, but are looking for more donations for this year! We will prob decorate after Thanksgiving!
and finally a Community Library - this is the little house on a stand that holds books that people can drop off books and pick one up. I reached out to Matt (in the neighborhood) for a quote and this would be about $325. I am not sure if there is a budget for it to be voted on or if we just need to ask for donations from the community / where this could go? Ideas were the park area or near a mailbox? Somewhere central to the community.
